I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the size of the wedding doesn’t matter, its the amount of love put into it! Kelsey Bielenberg & Austin Eischeid traveled from Iowa to be surrounded by mother nature’s magic, saying their vows along the shores of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park. Donning a simple short lace wedding dress, Kelsey was every bit the free spirit bride while Austin was dapper as could be! Soft yellows & cream were the couple’s signature colors, while a wildflower like bouquet & cake topper brought a real rustic woodsy feel. With no shortage of beautiful locations to shoot, Kelly Kirksey Photography scored not only some gorgeous shots showing off the beauty of the park, but wonderfully highlight just how sweet these two truly are. Kelsey & Austin kept their wedding small, centered around them and let their love shine through!
A word from our bride…
“We chose to elope because we both wanted something different from the average wedding. We wanted our wedding day to be about us and not just a party (although it is a bonus). There were other reasons that helped pushed us to commit to eloping instead of having the traditional wedding. Another advantage was saving a little bit of money by combining the ceremony and the honeymoon together. It was also an amazing feeling to get married on our four year anniversary.”
“Choosing the location was easy. Mountains are so beautiful and then adding Lake McDonald to the mix made for a perfect backdrop. Of course we wanted physical memories of our special day so we hired an amazing photographer. To make things run smoothly, we also hired wedding planners which included an officiant. Everything about that day was incredible except the cold temperature.”
